If you're going to lose weight you're going to start right now

I am sure you wouldn't be reading this right now if you were satisfied with the way you look. In fact, it's not always about how well you look in a bathing suit. Some people want to lose weight so they can have more energy. Other people lose weight because the doctor has given them a life or death ultimatum.

Whatever your reason is to lose weight, I've created 4 tips that you can use beginning today-

Weight Loss Tip#1-

The first tip I am going to share with you happens to be the most important. When losing weight it is crucial that you set goals. You need to set a goal that has a deadline and is specific in what you want to accomplish. "Losing 10 pounds in 20 days" is a perfect example of a goal you can set. Don't make the mistake of being vague and general.

Weight Loss Tip#2-

The 2nd tip involves making your surroundings healthier. I am not going to tell you to go throw away every un-healthy piece of food in your house, but I will tell you not to replenish it when it runs out. If you create an environment that is healthy, you'll no longer be tempted by un-healthy things.

Weight Loss Tip#3-

The next step is to become more active in your life. You may find it difficult as do I to run on a treadmill. This is why you can substitute activities such as basketball, bike riding, or even hiking to burn calories. Do what interests you and make sure that it is an activity that is going to burn calories.

Weight Loss Tip#4-

The last step you need to follow is to reward yourself. Of course when you start losing weight you will reap a big reward. You'll feel confident. You'll have more energy. You'll be proud of your body. However, it's important that you treat yourself if you hit a goal. So if you're looking to buy an iPod to workout with, don't buy the iPod until you lose a certain amount of weight.
